Awakening Wonder

When I first started writing here, I wasn’t exactly sure what it would be. My daughter had just turned one and, to be honest, I wasn’t entirely sure what raising my human would be either. This space has always been my place of figuring it all out. In the past two years, I’ve written my way towards figuring it out — my writing, my parenting, my perspective on the world.

And I’m still at the start of this journey but I’ve definitely figured some things out. This is a space of inspiration. Of moments noticed and savored. Of triumphs through pain and the beauty on the other side. This is a place to come, and breathe and remember how wonderful it is to slow down and enjoy.

And my parenting? It’s a thing of wonder. And delight. And good moments that stand out and shine amongst the not so good.

And any time I can one up the inspiration and the wonder? It’s like hugging my very own unicorn.
