This week, I am thankful for – Thursday morning

To be honest, I am thankful for a lot this week.

It was that kind of week. Lots of time and space to take it slow. Lots of quiet. Lots of good, family times. Lots of big things happening. Lots of support of friends and family.

But what I am really thankful for this week is Thursday morning.

Nanny took the day off, gifting me the most gorgeous 70 degree, first day of March to spend with my little girl.

So, naturally, we got ourselves to the really big park as we could. We arrived before the parking lot filled up, while there were still swings to be swung upon without waiting in line, and as the sun was warming up towards it’s springtime high.

And it was heaven.

Chasing a happy little girl around a giant park, following her wherever her heart desires to go? That, my friends, is good for the soul.

Sorry, rest of this past week. You were swell too. But when I look back, all I see is Thursday morning.
